Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott can most recently be seen starring in Pressure from Focus Features and will produce and star in Elsinore, alongside Olivia Colman. Next year, he stars in A Place in Hell for Neon, alongside Michelle Williams and Daisy Edgar-Jones. He recently wrapped production on Netflix’s Walk the Blue Fields opposite Emily Blunt, and on Justine Triet’s next film, Fonda, alongside Mia Goth and Allison Janney.

Last year, Scott appeared in the third installment of the Knives Out franchise and Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon, which earned him the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. In 2024, he earned Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics’ Choice nominations and won the Gotham Award for his leading role in Netflix’s Ripley, and became the first person to win Critics Circle lead actor prizes in both film and theater in the same year, for All of Us Strangers and Vanya. He previously won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in Fleabag.

On stage, Scott has won three Olivier Awards – for Vanya, A Girl in a Car with a Man, and Present Laughter. He was also nominated for the Olivier Award, the Evening Standard Award, and won the Critics Circle Award for his acclaimed performance as Hamlet at the Almeida, in a production that transferred to the West End. His other notable stage credits include COCK at the Royal Court and Present Laughter at the Old Vic.
